The X-FAB Group places particular importance on the protection of your personal data. We ensure by technical and/or organizational measures that your data is protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, unauthorized access, and loss. The transmission of your data takes place via a secure connection. We hereby expressly point out that, despite all measures that are in place, we cannot completely rule out the possibility of unauthorized persons gaining knowledge of data or even falsifying it.
Your data is stored in the SAP Success Factors Cloud on servers in Europe. This is done in accordance with European and applicable national laws, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). In the case of a data transfer to our non-European companies, the data protection standards of the European Union are complied with, otherwise no data transfer takes place.
Our X-FABulous Applicant Portal is based on an external software solution – SAP Success Factors.
In the context of your application using this system, the following personal data will be collected from you:
If you apply for a specific position, the data will be made available to the responsible HR department and the manager(s) of the respective specialist department(s). Likewise, the employee representative bodies will receive knowledge of your data in accordance with legal requirements.
When you create your applicant profile, you can decide whether you only want to make your data accessible to the X-FAB employees responsible for the position in question, or whether you also want to make it accessible to recruiters from other locations or for other positions.
In the application process you can also decide whether your profile may be included in our internal talent pool. In this case, recruiters and managers of the X-FAB Group also have access to your data.
If one of the above mentioned cases is applicable, we may also review your application documents for a match with alternative open positions. If this is the case, we will contact you and send you corresponding job offers that are available within the X-FAB Group. We also use this procedure for unsolicited applications.
By entering your data in the X-FABulous applicant portal (SAP Success Factors) and submitting it to X-FAB, you consent to your data being processed by X-FAB for the duration of the application process and stored by us for up to 6 months after completion of the application process. This also applies if you do not receive a positive decision from us.
It is also possible to keep your data in our applicant pool for up to 24 months so that we can contact you again if we find suitable positions that match your profile. Even in the case of a speculative application, your data will be stored in the applicant pool for a maximum period of 24 months. If we do not make a positive decision regarding your person after this period, the data provided will be deleted.;
If your application results in a contract of employment with X-FAB, your data will be stored and used for the purposes of the organizational and administrative process and in compliance with legal regulations.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, please send us an e-mail to HR-Erfurt@xfab.com indicating the date of application, the X-FAB location, and the position for which you have applied. Your data will then be deleted immediately.

Statistical, but not personal data is processed in the SAP Recruiting Analytics Center for internal reports, such as the duration of the vacancy or the origin of the respective applications.
